Live With Less

This blog is intended to be an outlet for all of my forms of communication. Take note that I am very rarely serious, almost always sarcastic, constantly surprised by my own stupidity, sporatically intelligent, and annoyingly attached to a book most of the time. And as of January 5th, 2009, I am participating Project365. Basically, I will take at least one picture a day for a year and post it with a little blurb. Feel free to join me in this quest, people!

Day 50

Everyone, meet Lexie. This little cutie is my friend's kitty. I'm taking care of her and her "brother" Blackie while my friend is in Mexico for the week. She's not terribly photogenic, but she is soooo freakin' adorable!

Day 49

Okay, I admit... this is not the best picture. But trust me - the sky was amazing right before sunset!

Day 48

I woke up this morning and decided to head over to the Nike Campus down the street from my house to attempt to walk/jog. I have this dream of becoming a jogger, but with my knee issues, I have to jog in spurts. Anyways, these are a couple of pictures I snapped along my workout. The fisherman happens to be a statue (if you can't tell), and the last picture is NOT a beaver. It's a Nutria. I walked right up to it and it just kept on munching on it's breakfast.

Day 47

It was bound to happen... I am human, after all.

I forgot to take a picture today. Crap!

Hopefully this will not become a trend.

Day 46

These are two coasters that my sister has in her room. I believe we got these in the UK, but I can't remember for sure... Good words, though.

Day 45

It was Mark's birthday, so I made him some itty bitty cupcakes... too bad he was home sick! I left one for him on his desk, but it was hard as a rock the next morning! At trust me - there weren't any leftover because most people had 3-4 each! Sorry Mark!

Day 44

Hmmm... can anyone guess who this is??? I don't have an obsession AT ALL.

Day 43

Last day of vacation. Only appropriate that I take photos of the apartment we stayed at right before we checked out.

Day 42

This was a super fun day in Vancouver BC! First, my sis and I went to the Vancouver Aquarium and got to see some really amazing exhibits and the most adorable Beluga Whales. The Jelly Fish are always my favorite creatures at aquariums and I thought it was cool that the Oregon Aquarium has some of the same species. Heather and I also went Canadian bowling again. It's a blast - much more fun than regular bowling! After our games, we went in to one of the most unique shops I've been in for awhile - Cherry Bomb. My friend Brian would have loved this store! We ended the day walking around familiar streets downtown, passing by the 2010 countdown clock for the Winter Olympics that are to be held in Vancouver BC ;)
